About the event
Girls aged 9-12 and their mothers/female caregivers are invited to gather in circle to learn, have fun and celebrate the rite of passage of menarche and the changes that puberty brings.
This is a positive, empowering workshop that goes beyond basic period education provided in most schools. It focuses instead on self-care and how to take advantage of the unique strengths of each phase of the cycle, allowing children to feel prepared, confident and supported as they move through this important stage of their life.
